Previous Speaking Engagements

Kelly Rose delivered training to our ITT SCITT cohort this academic year focusing on student and staff well-being.

The session was both informative, innovative and supportive for our trainees with accessible resources and ideas. Kelly is clearly very knowledgeable on both of these subjects. Kelly provided varied strategies and techniques that the trainees could readily use in both their training year, in the their NQT year and beyond which would help them to support students, and to balance their own work to life commitments.

The trainees thoroughly enjoyed the session and we received very positive feedback from them as they recognised that the strategies delivered by Kelly could easily be adaptable to their practice.

Kelly kindly offered to deliver a presentation on the “Direct link between Food and Mental Health” at our Festival of Wellbeing in 2017, an annual wellbeing campaign held at Teesside University.

Kelly is such an inspirational and knowledgeable speaker and her passion and dedication to getting the message out about the benefits of nutrition on mental health are so clear when she speaks.

This is a message I am very passionate about as well and Kelly's talk inspired me to do the same in the work I do.

I am very grateful to Kelly for being part of our festival and would love to have her come back and speak again.

When I heard Kelly’s talk on January 2017 at The Hague University for Applied Sciences, I was captured by her enthusiasm and truthfulness. That was exactly the reason that when I was presented with the opportunity to create an educational project for teenagers about food, with no prior experience with this age group, the person that immediately came in to my mind was Kelly.

She was my advisor to this project that was named “Feed Your Dreams” in collaboration with the ‘Markies catering’ at the International School of The Hague. With Kelly’s creativity, knowledge and extensive experience with this age group, Kelly was my Northern star, giving me honest feedback and practical suggestions and believing in me.

The project was very successful, and I am thankful for the professional and kind communication with Kelly through out.

I attended a workshop ran by Kelly at the PSHE conference last Autumn.

Kelly's knowledge and enthusiasm was so engaging I contacted her immediately after to deliver something similar to our pupils.

What I learnt during the workshop also helped me to make some very simple changes personally which have made the world of difference to my overall wellbeing.
